Did you know that there are only about 800 mountain gorillas left in the wild? Gorillas are one of the smartest species in the world so we need to help save them. They have saved many young children that have fallen into their enclosures at the zoo. There is a mother gorilla that saved a child after he fell into the troop's territory at the zoo. This gorilla is the niece to a famous gorilla that has learned sign language named Koko. Isn't it amazing that there are gorillas that have learned sign languange? Koko was one of the first that learned sign language.
